I entered the Cortex, trying to assist Barry in cracking the Speedforce Formula to get faster than Jay Garrick who we recently discovered was Zoom. Barry stood in front of a glass board scribbling down possible formulas to become faster.

As Barry wrote formulas down, I studied the ones he'd put down prior. None of them made any sense, because Barry is a CSI, whose background is predominately focused on biochemistry.

Folding my arms across my sore chest, I stated, "Barry, these equations don't make any sense."

He turned around, sighing, "I know. Have you checked the Time Vault for any more information?"

"No, I don't like going in there," I explained, picking up the spray bottle of water sat on my desk. Then, I sprayed the entire board, wiping away his faulty equations with the towel I'd picked up. "Here, let me help you."

Barry handed me the white marker, and stood behind me, wrapping his arms around my slightly larger belly. I began writing a base formula on the board.

"You're so smart," he smiled, kissing the side of my head.

I replied, smirking, "I'm not getting my doctorate on Friday for nothing."

"Not this Friday, right?" Barry asked, a tone of worry in his voice.

Sighing, I said irritated with him, "Yes, Bar, this Friday, like it's been since January. And on that Saturday my family is coming over to the house for the party. And also, my dad and brother are flying in from Metropolis tonight and they'll be staying with us."

Barry uncoiled his arms from my waist, and rubbed his face, groaning, "Why didn't you tell me that your dad and brother were staying with us?"

"I did, Barry," I growled, continuing to work out the formula, now angrily. "I told you multiple times last week, but of course you didn't listen to me!" I yelled, upset with him because of my mood swings.

He probably did remember that Trey and my dad were coming over, but he just wanted it to not be true since my dad isn't the biggest fan of Barry. When I was in the hospital, my dad called Barry "a flake" because he had to attend to Flash business.

Barry sat down in the chair next to the whiteboard, and sighed, "Are you picking them up from the airport?"

"Unless you suddenly have a change in heart," I chuckled, glancing over at Barry, "I figured I would drive over there to pick them up at six."

Barry asked, "What time is it now?"

"I don't know," I shrugged, crossing out a failed formula, "look at the clock."

"It's almost five," Barry replied, looking at the clock. He was quiet for a while, but then asked quietly, "Are we going to tell your dad about the baby yet?"

I sighed, placing the marker on the edge of the board, and I shrugged, turning around to look at Barry, "I don't know. I think I want to wait a little bit longer until Caitlin can confirm that the baby will be okay."

Barry abruptly got out of his chair, very distraught at my comment. "What's wrong with it?" he asked, his green eyes wide with fear.

"Nothing, nothing. The baby's fine, don't worry. It's just that we've never had a speedster/meta baby before, so we have no idea what to expect," I explained to him, touching his upper-arm to calm him down.

Barry placed his hands into mine, and whispered, "Do you think there's something wrong with it? Like genetically wrong with it."

"No, babe, I don't. We just need to make sure everything can go smoothly," I replied, growing frustrated with him again—thanks mood swings. "Can you take me home? I need to clean the house since you definitely didn't when I asked you to yesterday."

He sighed, taking his jacket from the chair, "Yeah. Do you want me to get your stuff from your office?"

"Obviously," I rolled my eyes.

I waited at the gate for my brother and my dad to get off their plane. As I was answering a work email on my phone, a little girl's voice asked me from behind, "Are you Finn Carter?"

I turned around to see a little girl who was about six years old looking up at me; her chocolate brown eyes matched her beautiful skin. "Yes, I am," I replied smiling.

"I want to be like you when I grow up!" the little girl exclaimed excitedly.

Grinning, I replied trying not to get emotional, "You can do anything you set your mind to, sweetie."

The little girl's mom approached me, holding her coat in her arms. "Sorry if she interrupted you, Candice just really idolizes you," the mother chuckled.

"No, that's perfectly fine." I smiled, and asked the little girl named Candice, "Do you want to take a picture with me?"

"Yeah!" Candice exclaimed. I crouched down onto my feet so I was relatively the same height as she was, and held her close to me.
