A dark silence fell over the Cortex.

This wasn't how I wanted to present my idea to them. The idea was perverted by Harry when he told them, and now they'll never accept it.

I glared at Harry. "Like Snow always said, 'in science we don't keep secrets'," he stated.

"It wasn't a secret. I was going to tell them when everything was ready," I snarled.

"And would you look at that, you just said that you had everything ready, so I took it upon myself to tell them for you," Harry argued.

My heart pounded angrily, and I stormed up to Harry, shoving my face into his. "If you ever have the nerve to do that shit ever again, you'll have to find another place to hide from the world. Get out of my face before I particle accelerate your ass," I threatened, in a hushed tone.

Harry almost responded, but seeing the fire in my eyes, he chose to walk away.

________

I worked in my lab, trying to perfect my idea. At this current moment, I was building a digital model of what the new particle accelerator had to look and function like.

My back ached from my belly growing, and I was exhausted from constantly working my ass off. All I wanted was for the world to be a safe place for the baby when it arrives.

The door to the lab opened, and Barry entered quietly. I looked over my shoulder seeing him.

Barry sat down on the bench next to my desk, and quietly asked, "What are you doing?"

"I'm making a model of the new particle accelerator," I said, continuing to work. It was awkwardly quiet. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys about my plan."

"It's okay," Barry replied.

I placed my tools down, and looked at Barry. "Are you mad at me?" I asked, sighing.

"No, it's just such huge decision that I need to think about," he explained.

I took Barry's hands into mine, "You know that I would never put you in harm's way, right Bar?" I asked him softly.

"I know you wouldn't, but I really need to talk it over with some people," Barry replied, playing with my engagement ring.

"Who?" I asked, scooting closer to him.

He sighed, "My dad and Joe."

"Well," I said while going through the drawers of my desk for ultrasound pictures I was saving, "when you see him, give him these, okay?" I handed him the pictures, smiling. "He deserves to know by now."

Barry smiled as he looked through the pictures of our child and read some of the word bubbles I'd placed on them saying things like, Hello world!, Hi Grandpa!, Hi Grandma!, and I like to make my mom cry for no reason!

Once he finished looking through the pictures, Barry placed his lips against the side of my head and his hand on my slightly visible bump. "I love you both so much," he whispered against my head.

________

I presented the model to Jesse, Cisco, and Iris, but all of them were just staring at it, not saying anything.

"It looks like the vacuum," Cisco stated, arms crossed as he analyzed the accelerator.

Jesse questioned him, confused at his geeky reference, "Uh, what's the vacuum?"

Cisco replied surprised, "No Fringe on Earth-2? Noted."

Iris, having no science background at all, asked bluntly, "What even is that thing?"

Harry replied for me, "That's how Barry's going to get his speed back."

"So, this is what you've been working on all week?" Cisco asked, turning around to face Harry and me.

"I have to worry about Zoom or no one else will," I sighed.

Cisco argued, "Look, Barry cannot do this."

"If he wants his speed back, he has to Cisco," I snapped, and then Cisco's attention was pulled from me—he was vibing.

Harry asked once Cisco was back to reality, "What did you see?"

"Did you see Zoom or Caitlin?" I asked nervously.

Cisco replied, "No," he paused, "I saw my brother . . . I've got to go." Cisco quickly ran out of the lab, and at that second I knew something was wrong.

Barry and Henry walked into the lab where we were, and Barry greeted us, "Hey!"

Seeing Henry, I grinned, and quickly walked out of the lab. "Oh my god, Henry it's so good to see you," I exclaimed, running to Henry for a hug.

"You too, Finn," he said warmly as he hugged me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Henry, happy to see him. "I didn't expect Barry to drag you back here for a bit."

Barry smiled, "It seems like maybe for good."

I looked at Barry and then back at Henry, both were smiling. "Wait, seriously?"

"I figured that I need to be here when my grandchild is born, and grows up," Henry grinned.

I was grinning even more, "Are you going to be staying with us while you look for place?" I asked excitedly.

"Unless you'd rather me stay in a hotel," Henry chuckled.

"No, no, no, stay, stay with us . . . forever," I replied.
