Catalyst (probably not going to update anymore, don't watch the show anymore)

Chapter 100

            Barry thought out loud, "So all I have to do to beat you is stop you before that happens."

            Jay replied, "Yup, it's that simple. But if at any point you decide you don't want to race any more, dear old Dad number two's a dead man as well as your little fan club."

            The two men stood side by side. "They're not my fan club," Barry snapped, "They're the reason that I'm running. Why I'm going to beat you."

            "Let's see what you're made of, Flash," Jay laughed. Both men pulled their cowls over their faces.

            "Just say when, Zoom," Barry clapped back.

            Zoom growled, "Run Barry, run!"

            Then, both speedsters ran onto the loop, trying to knock the other off, and lightning struck the magnetar. I kept the levels of all the tachyons in his suit stable and at full capacity, "Come on, Barry," I whispered.

            "They're powering up the magnetar!" Harry exclaimed.

            Then, a red beam pointed into the sky, and there were two yellow bolts of lightning running around the ring. "Which one's Barry?" Jesse asked, confused.

            "Both of them," Harry explained. "He made a time remnant."

            Suddenly, Zoom pinned Barry to the ground, growling, "A remnant, you stole my trick, Flash. But you're too late. Bye, bye, Multiverse."

            Then, the two men ran away throwing punches at each other.

            "What's the time remnant doing?" Caitlin asked over the loud thunder.

            "It's creating its own pulsar," I explained.

            Jesse asked confused, "Why would he do that?"

            "Because," Harry explained, "if that's out of phase, it'll counter act that one," he pointed to the large ring.

            Barry's vitals started going crazy, "His body can't handle that!" Caitlin shouted.

            "Then what's going to happen?" Jesse asked.

            I answered, "He'll die."

            Then, the remnant suddenly stopped running around the magnetar, and disappeared along with the beam going into the sky. Zoom and Barry started running along the buildings, until the crashed into a power box as Barry savagely beat him.

            They now laid on the ground, and Barry ripped off part of Jay's mask while his hand was raised above Jay's body, vibrating. "You're a hero, Barry," Jay said, weakly, "But you couldn't kill me before, you won't kill me now."

            Then, screaming from a breach in the universe, two Time Wraiths came looking for the time remnant. "I don't have to," Barry said, leaping away from Jay as the Wraiths came flying at him.

            They flew around him, looking almost like smoke. Zoom's blue lightning turned to red as his screams faded into nothing, and the two Wraiths swiftly carried him back into the Speedforce.

            After the real Jay Garrick, Harry, and Jesse went back to their respective earth, everybody decided to hang out at Joe's place to celebrate finally defeating Zoom.

            Except I wasn't celebrating, and neither was Barry it seemed. Both of us were being eaten alive by our minds.

            While everyone was watching the news, Barry tried to be smooth, and walk out the front door with nobody noticing. Nobody did notice, except me.
