Secrets (Draco x reader)

I woke up the next morning and went to the Great Hall to have breakfast. When I saw Draco sitting at the Slytherin table, I smiled at him and he winked at me while licking his lower lip subtly. "Well I can get used to this" I thought while I walked to the Hufflepuff table, trying to hide my now newly red cheeks.

Suring breakfast, I talked a little with Ellie and looked over her shoulder to look at Draco once in a while. Ellie and I were pretty good friends, but I felt like we weren't as close as Ginny and I were though. But that's okay, we each still had our own friendgroup after all.

To be honest, I didn't really have friends that were Hufflepuffs except for Ellie. I had my Gryffindor friends, Luna and Draco and then of course Ellie, but apart from that I didn't really socialize with other Hufflepuffs.

After breakfast, I walked over to the Gryffindor table and said hi to everyone. Luna also came over and we talked a little, mostly about school stuff. "Snape really loves giving a lot of homework, I'm bloody telling you" Ron complained.

It was saturday, so that meant no classes today. I had already done most of my homework so I could take a free day. "Anyone wanna hang out today?" I asked and everyone said yes, although Ron and Harry still had a lot of homework to do. "They're probably gonna ask Hermione if they can copy hers" I think to myself.

We went outside and sat down in the grass. I don't know where the idea came from, but I suddenly wanted to tell them about me being an animagus. "Hey guys" I said "I have to tell you something." They looked up at me "Sure y/n, what is it?" Neville asked.

"Well it's the thing I wanted to tell you in the train" I explained and they nodded. "I don't really know why I didn't tell you already so please don't ask me, but... I'm an animagus."

They looked at me with surprised faces and the boys even had their mouths open a little in disbelief. "Well done y/n" Luna said with a smile "I knew you were a powerful witch." I smiled "Thanks Luna" I said and she smiled back.

"Isn't it dangerous?" Hermione asked concerned. "Really Hermione?" Ron asked. "Ron, I'm just worried about her safety, damn!" I giggled "They are so in love with each other."

"Don't worry Hermione, it's fine. Maybe it was a little risky to try, but I did it and now there's no danger at all" I explained. Well I didn't know back then, but that was a big lie...

"So what animal are you y/n?" Ginny asked excitedly. "A white and grey wolf" I answered. "Are there any things different now?" Harry asked "I mean like, things that changed for you now that you are an animagus?"

"Well yes, I don't really get cold anymore - or at least not as easily as before - and I can run faster in my human for too. My hearing also improved, my reflexes are way better and I can see in the dark."

"Okay that's so cool!" Neville exclaimed as he was impressed. They kept asked me some more questions like how it felt to be in my animal form and what it felt like to change from animal form to human form. I answered all of them and we just hung out some more until it was time for lunch. We stood up and walked back to the castle together.

At lunch, Draco and I made a lot of eye contact and I had to try and hide my smile quite some times. Ellie and I talked for a bit, but when she was done eating, she left to go do some homework. We said bye and I kept eating my lunch.

When I was done eating, I saw that Draco was too and he had been looking at me for a little while apparently. He made a subtle motion with his head towards the doors of the Great Hall and winked at me. Then he stood up and walked out. I waited a minute before also standing up and leaving the Hall.

I had only just walked out when I heard Draco say "Hello beautiful." I felt a tingling feeling in my stomach when he called me that. I turned to face him and smiled. "Hey Draco" I say as I walk towards him. There was no one in the corridor except for us.

He was wearing his Hogwarts uniform in the best way ever. His tie hung a little loosely around his neck and his shirt hung out of his pants. The sleeves were rolled up to just below his elbow and the upper parts hugged his biceps perfectly. His hair was also a little messy which just made him look so much better.

"How has your day been so far?" he asked me when I stood in front of him. "Good actually, I told my friends about my animal side" I said. "Oh so they didn't know yet?" he asked surprised and I nodded. "Well, I feel honoured that I was your first friend to know."

That word bugged me a little now... friend... I didn't see him as just a friend anymore and I didn't want him to see me as just a friend anymore either.

Draco took my hand in his. "Come on, let's go somewhere a little more private" he said and I nodded in response. He led me towards an empty corridor where no one really came when there were no classes. When he went to sit on the windowsill, Draco pulled me with him so I sat down next to him.

As we sat there, my hand still laid in his and he caressed it with his thumb. I looked up from our hands at his face. "Draco" I said softly and he looked up at my e/c eyes. "I euhm, I just wanna.... ask you something" I continued.

He smiled and nodded as if to say "carry on", so I did. "I was just thinking and euhm I wondered if you still wanted to be friends or, you know... maybe we're not just friends anymore?" I felt like an idiot as soon as I finished my sentence.

"He kissed you and said that he liked you, you idiot! Plus he litterally called you 'beautiful' just a moment ago, but oh yeah no, he still just wanted to be friends of course. Are you really that stupid y/n?!"

Draco's smile now turned into a mischievous smirk. "Would you like to be more than just friends y/n?" he asked "Because then you can just say it" he continued softly. I looked down at our hands again as I felt my cheeks burning. "God! What is wrong with me? Why am I bloody blushing all the time? Stop it y/n!"

Draco put his finger under my chin and softly pushed my head up again. I looked into his beautiful grey eyes, he was waiting for my answer. "Yes" I said with shaky breath as I locked my eyes with his "Yes I would like that."

"So you want me to be your boyfriend then?" He was so annoying but also very hot right now. "Yes" I said once again. He laughed softly. "You are so adorable" he said and he leaned down to kiss me.
