Secrets (Draco x reader)

Time went by faster than we'd thought and suddenly we heard loud noises outside. We all went to look what the hell was going on, when we saw Voldemort and his followers walking over to the castle. "Wait a second, is that- Hagrid?! He's carrying something, but what is it?"

When they came closer, we saw Harry's lifeless body draped in Hagrid's arms. We were all in shock and our minds whelmed in disbelief. "Harry Potter is dead, heee he heee." "Jesus dude, work on that laugh will you?"

Voldemort held his stupid speech about sides and winning and bla bla bla. He wanted us to join his side which made Draco's stupid father call out for him. Draco looked at me with pain in his eyes but I nodded understandingly so he slowly walked over to his parents. The next thing that happened was possibly even worse. Neville walked forward as well.

We all stared at him, not believing he would join the Dark Side. I get why Draco had to, but Neville? Luckily, it wasn't what I had thought at first. Neville hold a beautiful speech about all the fallen people and... he took out the Sword of Gryffindor!

Suddenly Harry moved as well, he was alive! Draco also made his move by running over to me again as he threw his wand at Harry while yelling to get his attention. "Potter!" Things got hectic very quickly and Draco took me inside for safety.

Unfortunately, it was impossible for me to escape the castle so I had to fight my way out. Draco stayed by my side during all the fighting to make sure I stated safe. We protected each other successfully until it was all finally all over. Harry had defeated Voldemort and things finally started to calm down. We all went back to the Great Hall to rest out from all the fighting but-

"Ahh!" An immense pain hit me, something was wrong but I didn't know what. "Y/n!" Draco yelled worriedly while the others gathered around me. I felt like my legs were about to give up on me but Draco catched me in time. Madam Pomfrey rushed to my side and with one look at me, she knew what was wrong.

"It's happening y/n, you're going into labor."

My heart was pounding even more now and a stinging pain hit me again.

"The intention if the fight sped things up a few weeks, but you're going to be okay" madam Pomfrey reassured me.

Draco's pov:
Madam Pomfrey took y/n with her to the Hospital Wing for some privacy and Mrs. Weasley followed to help. "You stay here, Mr. Malfoy, you'll only be walking in our way with your worried thoughts" madam Pomfrey had said before they left. I was so scared for what was about to happen but I also knew she was in good hands.

I waited and waited anxiously for hours, the others were worried as well but we didn't get any news. Eventually, madam Pomfrey came out of the room again and invited us in after a strict speech about what we were and weren't supposed to do.

I walked in nervously but also excited to meet my kid and see how y/n was doing. The others followed behind me and we walked over to y/n together.

"Hi love, how are you doing?" I asked softly when I sat down next to her bed. "I've been better but I'm okay, don't worry" she said with a wide smile on her face "Draco, we have a daughter." I blinked with my eyes a few times and looked at the new born girl. I couldn't help but smile the widest smile ever when I looked at her little face, happy that both mother and daughter were healthy and safe.

Y/n pov:
His cute smile only made mine wider. I was so happy that our daughter was born healthy, even though the path to it was a bit rocky. All my friends were looking at the little girl and Ginny gave me a proud wink. I looked at Draco and he nodded at me.

"Ginny?" I asked and she looked at me confused. "Yes?" "Will you be her godmother?" She looked from me to Draco and a wide smile appeared on her face. "Of course, I'd be honored!" she explained happily which made me chuckle softly.

"Neville?" Draco asked suddenly and now everyone looked at Neville "Will you be her godfather?" Neville just stood there in silence for a bit as he took the question in. "But I punched you in the face?" he said confused which made us all laugh a bit. "Well yes but you're still a good friend and you'll be an even better godfather" Draco explained. "Oh well, of course I want to!" Neville said with teary eyes.

"Have you decided on a name yet?" Hermione asked curiously and I nodded. "We've talked about it and we were thinking of Robin, Robin Minerva Malfoy." "Beautiful name dear" Mrs. Weasley complimented us.

I recovered from the birth soon and Draco and I went to the Malfoy Manner with his mom. She explained everything to Lucius who was pissed off at first but he allowed us to stay. Narcissa sold her sister's house and gave the money to us to buy one of our own. That way, we could have some privacy but of course a lot of people still came for help, including the Malfoy's and Weasley's.
