Secrets (Draco x reader)

I was very confused when Draco send me that message but also a little worried. "Why does he think he has to apologise? He did nothing wrong!"

Why would you have to apologise, Draco?

Well, I should've said something when Parkinson decided to insult Luna, Ginny and you.

"This is why he feels guilty? Oh god, he really is too sweet" I thought as I dipped my quill in my ink to answer him.

Draco, don't worry about that, it's fine really. If you would've said something, your friends would get suspicious.

And that's why I didn't but still, she treated you badly and that makes me mad. Honestly, I should've cursed her immediately.

I chuckled involuntarily.

Did I ever tell you how cute you are when you're being so protective?

Hey! I'm not cute! You can call me whatever, but not 'cute'.

I chuckled once again. "Yeah, he's definitely cute."

Okay, then you're adorable.

That's even worse.

I laughed when I read his response. "Not cute or adorable huh?"

Okay, then I'll just say sweet.

Fine, I can live with that.

Suddenly, a big yawn escaped my mouth. I actually wanted to keep talking with Draco, but unfortunately I really was too tired to do so. I sighed as I wrote my response to him.

I'm sorry Draco but I am really tired, so I'm gonna sleep, okay? We'll talk more tomorrow.

Sure darling, just make sure to get enough rest, okay? It's important...

I smiled at how sweet he was.

I will Draco, make sure you do too.

I will try. Good night Pup, sweet dreams.

I smiled widely as I closed the book and put it on my bedside table. I sighed happily and laid down to sleep.

After about an hour and a half I was getting frustrated as I still wasn't asleep. The worst thing was that I didn't understand why which was only more frustrating and annoying.

I decided to get up and to go - once again - for a run. I quickly changed and tiptoed out of my dorm so Ellie wouldn't wake up. As I went outside, I was thinking about how good it felt to run through the woods.

"If I change to my wolf form, no one will know it's me right? And even if someone sees me, I won't get a punishment because I can't get identified as y/n but just as a random wolf..." I thought. I decided to act out my plan and transformed.

I tripled to the border of the Forbidden Forest like a puppy and stood still for a moment as my thoughts kept wandering through my head. "It's probably very dangerous... Oh I know! If I just stay close enough to the border, I'll be okay."

I cautiously walked between the trees with a fast heartbeat for a while and when nothing really happened, I decided to start running. I felt my weight on my four legs and the ground shifted beneath my paws. As I ran, a soft, cool breeze went through my fur and I breathed in the familiar forest scent.

I felt the low hanging branches and leafs on my back and tail which was very relaxing. The freeing feeling only kept growing and growing until I suddenly heard a sound not too far away from me. I immediately stopped running, but I was too late to notice the dark figure jumping me.

I rolled over the ground a few times before I quickly stood up and shook my head. In front of me stood a big, all-black wolf. It seemed like he had marked these grounds as his territory which meant that I was trespassing and believe me, you don't want to do that with wolves.

The black wolf was almost 2 times as big as me. He had bared his teeth as he growled at me and it seemed like he was gonna jump me again but I wasn't gonna surrender. Before he could touch me, I dodged his move and I was now standing a little farther away from him.

The other wolf didn't seem to like my action very much, so he jumped me again but I was ready. This time however, he had exposed his claws and he didn't hesitate to use them. The both of us stood on our hind legs and we used our front paws as a way to attack and defend.

The black wolf mostly tried to hurt me with his claws, while I mostly used mine to dodge his attacks. When he noticed that his claws weren't doing much, he sunk his sharp teeth in my neck.

I howled out in pain as I was weakened but the other just saw this as an opportunity to attack again. He clawed at me and scratched me on my left side. I howled once again but even though the wounds were hurting awfully bad, I managed to stand up and run out of the forest.

As I reached the edge of the woods, I slowed down and stumbled over the school grounds. My side and neck were hurting so bad that I felt like I was going to faint, but somehow my legs kept carrying me.

Staying in my wolf form seemed to drain me even more, so I decided to transform back to my human form and I kept stumbling to the castle until I fell down because of my lack of energy.

My eyes felt heavy and I was sure that I was gonna faint when suddenly, I saw a tall figure running out of the castle and towards me. I couldn't see who it was as I felt my eyes close and then I blacked out.
