Trevor P.O.V.
The last few days of travel were a bit colder than we'd thought, our bodies weary from the long trip home. Home. Such a strange thing for me to think when I consider how I began this strange journey. I began thinking I had to rid this world of all vampires to keep everyone safe. Now, I sit here thinking of the King of Vampires as a...friend. The best friend I have is his son, no matter how much of a fucker I think of him as. And now, I consider the domain of Dracula as a home, a Speaker, one of the people who always told my family's story wrong, was going to bear my child and my best friend's wife-to-be is from a completely different time. Never would I have thought things in my life would have turned out this way, but here it is.
When the wagon stopped we began the process of emptying the contents and bringing it into the castle. Boxes and bags were brought in by us men while the blankets and things were brought in by the women. Granted, I'm certain that Lisa and Y/N could have carried a lot more than even I could, but it seemed ingrained that women are weak and the men should do the heavy lifting. Good thing I didn't say that shit out loud or I'm sure I'd hear a shit ton about my thoughts later.
"You shouldn't be lifting that in your condition," Lisa chided when she saw Sypha trying to lift one of the bags.
"It isn't that heavy," she grumbled in return. "I'm not that weak, you know?"
"Of course you're not," Lisa said, "but you've just gone through a war and a horrible ride back here, bouncing around in the back of a wagon for almost two weeks. You don't need to strain yourself any further."
"Don't argue, Sypha," I said. "The only thing you'll get is another lecture about how you're pregnant and need to keep yourself healthy for the baby...from me." Her look of shock was too funny, but I daren't laugh because I know all too well how she could light my ass on fire.
"Fine. Is there anything I can help with?"
"I need to go get us something for dinner," Y/N said. "Everyone must be tired, so I was thinking about getting some takeaway for dinner and then everyone just relax and sleep in a decent bed for tonight. Does that work?"
"Do you have any idea what you want?" Lisa asked.
"Steak!" Asshole and I shouted at the same time making everyone else laugh.
"Ok, that's one thing. Lisa, would you like to come along? The three of us should be able to come up with something."
"As long as we don't have to cook it, I'm just fine," she said as a response, "so let's go look at what options we've got and go get it." Within a few moments, the Mirror opened and the three women stepped through, leaving us men to get everything else put away.
"That's going to be one thing I'm going to miss," Dracula said.
"What's that?" I asked.
"The Mirror bringing Y/N and Adrian back here, the convenience of her time...everything." He sighed heavily before proceeding to move things where they needed to be.
"You know we can always come back and visit you all," Fuckface said. "It isn't like it would be that big of a deal for you guys to come there, either."
"Actually, it will be," his father said. "Your mother and I have decided that we should move around a bit more, explore like I did before. She hasn't seen much of the world we live in and I'd like nothing more than to share with her everything I've seen, show her the distant lands that I managed to go to, introduce her to some of the peoples outside our country that I'm sure she'd love to see. Not to mention what Y/N had said before; we should move to my hidden home for a little while and let my name fade into history."
