Spring Forward, Fall Back (Alucard x Chubby! Reader)

Richter P.O.V.

Luckily everything went fine after the ladies returned. Simon and Michael had a thing or two to report to the rest of us, including the successful completion of my request, and then went their separate ways to spend some time at their jobs. Hugue took off almost as soon as we'd gotten back with the plans to get some blood for the family. I, for one, couldn't wait for him to bring back something for everyone to drink so the nasty farts could stop. Even Lisa, Y/N and Adrian had started by the time we'd gotten back to Vlad's place and there weren't nearly enough windows we could open to get away from that.

Allen seemed a bit depressed when we got back, but refused to say anything about it. I'd asked him several times only to hear him mutter 'its nothing, mate' each time. It didn't take much detective work to figure out what it was that truly bothered him. His little girl was getting married soon and he felt like he hadn't done much for her. I couldn't begin to know what the guy was going through, not with the only children I have being boys and both of them being up my ass right from the start, but in a way I shared his pain. It would be difficult for me to let my boys go get married and go off on their own. Especially Simon. But it's so much different when its your little girl.

Rather than trying to get him to talk, I decided to give him a little space to be there with her. I also spoke with the other guys and talked them into giving him a little father/daughter time, all of them instantly understanding what I meant. Adrian decided to go into the office to get a few things done to keep him from interrupting them, also to spread the word that he and Allen would be unavailable for a couple of days while the rest of us were trying to get back to the castle to set up the great hall for the wedding. Sypha pulled me off to the side along with Vlad while everyone else was trying to get a dinner together.

"When are you all coming to get the stuff set up for the wedding?" she asked in a very hushed whisper in the back of the house.

"We were just about to discuss that as well," Vlad said equally as soft. "I'm thinking we should get over there tomorrow afternoon so we can begin putting things together. I'll be taking you back through the Mirror, so I'll get a few of the shards together and ready to go for everyone else. Allen and Adrian will be spending time with Y/N, so she should be distracted for quite a bit. Not that it'll matter since we'll be back a few minutes after we leave anyway, but we should get everything together pretty quickly. Isaac and Hector will be coming, too, so they'll also be able to help."

"You managed to get to them?" Sypha asked happily.

"Yes," he said with a huge grin. "I'd planned on getting them to help with the wedding anyway and told them just as much. I told them to make ready to go and I would bring them with the Mirror shards."

"Y/N and Adrian are gonna lose their shit," I said. "I mean seeing you and Trevor was the one thing they'd been lamenting the most over, but seeing those two again will just kick them over the moon."

"I already have a few things worked out," Vlad said. "I've reserved a table at a restaurant for just the three of them tomorrow. Nothing big, mind you, but it'll give them all time together, especially Allen, to just have a few moments to themselves."

"You remember she has that stomach issue, right?" Sypha asked.

"I have that part covered," I said. "I already have the stuff for nausea in my pack because I never know when the issue will hit. I wanted to be ready for anything, that including the lot of you coming to my place for a dinner or something." I really had gotten a few things from Celeste not that long ago to help with the nausea Y/N gets from time to time.
